Peertube

I really want to create a user on peertube, but when it asks me to choose between servers, I have no idea what this means? Is it like Lemmy and Mastodon where it doesnt really matter, or does it have consequences?

So i was looking into selfhosting my own Peertube Instance due to me wanting to back up my Youtube Channel as well as our Indie Bands Channel and just also provide a Mirror for those People that do not wanna follow us via Youtube >.>

Trying to get into federated video content with PeerTube but having some trouble with discovering content. You guys have any favorite instances where you get most of your content from and stuff?

Basically the title. Is there a way to disable notifications for an individual channel while still being subscribed?

It’s been down for me for a day now with a 502 Bad Gateway error, citing an openresty (nginx) issue. Is this an OSA-related regional thing to the UK, or is it down for everyone else too? It’d suck if it’s permanently down because I have a channel on there.

A long time ago I created some YouTube videos and achieved a total of 14 subscribers. (This was partly a confidence building exercise and a push to learn vocal demonization)

Hi all, I’m new to video production and am trying to create some art-themed videos to upload to Peertube. Does anyone have recommended video output settings for OBS that would keep the filesize small while still having enough resolution to allow line art to appear readable? Or tips on using something like Handbrake to resize/compress videos without losing quality?
