Strange. I’m using Voyager as the client, which normaly shows cross posts correctly, but this showed up 3x.
I use Voyager and I've never seen a cross-post displayed correctly.
This why Connect is great (well, nice, not great).
Eternity displays them as separate posts but the body mentions "crossposed from" and the link to the original post followed by the original post body as citation.
Can confirm for Eternity that the cross posts are not being displayed as such.
I'm on Boost. I also see everything as multiple posts.

I don't believe there's an official way to do cross posts so there's no correct way to show them versus not. It was the same on Reddit as far as I remember. It was always unofficial slang.
Shows up as a proper crosspost in the Connect app
