This is such a heartwarming scene!
It gets warmer
Literally warms my heart to about 300,000 Kelvin. ā¤ļøāš„š«¶
Seriously! I completely melted.
(Simpsons did it so itās eventually gonna happen.)
This move was so crazy I saw it when I was like 16.
I watched this movie each weekend for like 2 years straight when i was a kid, i was addicted to this movie lol
Same, my dad recorded them off TV for me and my sister when I was like 5 and weād watch them obsessively š
I hope everyone remembered to wear sunscreen!
2,000,000 SPF!
Iāll buy that for a dollar!
No you wonāt. Maybe a trial sizeā¦.maybeā¦.
Zero chance Walmart, Walgreens, etc. carry 2,000,000 SPF. Sorry to be a fly in the gravy or whatever the saying is.
Well that tears it! Iām going to go yell at a minimum wage teenage walmart employee over his decision to not stock 2,000,000 SPF! I need that stuff! How dare he be out of stock???
Wow, this really blew up!
Itās just now occuring to me how weird it is to have a playground like that just on top of a hill surrounded by a like 8 foot chain link fence with a massive gate on the front.
Itās a dream, so it being weird actually makes sense.
You wouldnāt want the kids to run out into the streets and get hit by a pickup truck, right?
Also keeps balls inside.
Balls containment is always important. Got to keep them safe
Depends on the kid.
Itā keeps the terminators out, but the t1000ās can just melt through
In order for a t100 to get in some guy in the Philippines has to take over and remote control it to open the gate
you canāt just skinwalk through a dream gate! if the t1000 got through it would look like a ditto before transforming or maybe like a metal slime from dragon quest or like a machine elf yeerk from animorphs or likeā¦
Howdy, neighbor! It really is such a beautiful day! Itās just so lovely to see you here at the park.

Whatās it from?
āTerminator 2: Judgment Dayā. A great film.
Terminator. Donāt know which one.
The second!
I tell them apart by remembering how dramatic the difference in special effects were the first time I went back to watch the original lol
(Also, Linda Hamilton is consistently shredded AF in the second šŖ)
She is so good looking in the first one and decent in the second one. But she didnt age well unfortunately. Thats life.
Sheās a woman who looks her age.
Shocking!
Dude, what are you talking about? I checked the photos and she looks old, but she is beautifullly old.
Like āI wish many to look like her when they are oldā old.
2 I think
Here comes the sun doodoo doo.
The alternate ending is the real ending.
Look at that beautiful polluted sky
Thatās just the color things were in the 90s.
Exactly, all the vhs tapes confirm this.
I didnāt realize this scene was in Mexico.
Is it less polluted nowadays?
This isnt fallout
Im afraid to ask if you do know what this is from
Iām afraid to ask what this is from, because it seems everyone knowsā¦
Terminator 2: Judgment Day
(Now go watch it. Itās a masterpiece)
Itās shocking how good T2 actually is. Itās almost perfect, really. I wonder how it holds up today. I bet it still holds up very well today, even without the dozens of frightening parallels to the real world.
I just showed it to my kids this past weekend (you know, to celebrate Easter) and I kept pausing it to gush about the techniques and special effects.
Luckily, autism is hereditary.
Itās just astoundingly well-made if one ponders the details. The semi truck looks unmistakably menacing straight from its appearance from the overpass. T1000 famously runs like a robot rather than a human.
Yeah, definitely. And this particular scene where Sarah is dreaming of the nuclear blast is forever seared into my memory. It starts off normal(ish) but it quickly becomes apparent that something is very, very wrong. Then, in an instant, just complete destruction⦠everywhere.
As a kid who grew up on the East Coast, on a major military base during the tail end of the Cold War, this scene really messed with me.
And doesnāt blink when shooting!
My wife and I rewatched it like 6 months ago and itās still šš¤
Apparently the scene was reused in āTerminator Genisysā, padded at the start with some new shots regarding the rockets. Saw that on Reddit yesterday without clarification, had to check if I somehow mandelaed as to what the original scene looked like.
Terminator II
Thereās 11 of them now??
I do not know and would like to
What would you like to know that hasnāt already been discussed?
I guess just whether the film is worth watching? I still havenāt watched the first one, are the films good like Total Recall? I liked that one
The first movie is basically a slasher flick.
T2 is a film. They teach about it in film class.
They tie together, but you can absolutely enjoy T2 without seeing the first one. Most people never saw the first movie anyways even when T2 released. Itās better than total recall, which is another classic.
Oh ok cool! Iāll watch it then, thanks!
Iāve had this scene on my mind for like a month now lol
