Today I’m reading “Ghosts, Trolls and the Hidden People”
by Dagrún Ósk Jónsdóttir.
It’s a collection of Icelandic folklore that includes a few paragraphs after each tale to describe the cultural context of that story so those of us who are new to them can understand why certain references are so meaningful.
If you like folklore, this is a good collection.
