Aliona Baranova got turned down for the role of Shadowheart and then ended up becoming the movement director (and real life girlfriend) of Shadowheart.
This seems like a good ending, cuz both shadowheart’s voice acting and the movement in-game were really well done
Did they get together "on set" or unrelated? Because that'd be so cool
More or less on set. Supposedly it was apparent to most coworkers. They had a technician over in their stream who was mostly responsible for getting them together if I understood it correctly.
