Aww man. RIP Terence "General Zod" Stamp. What an underrated actor. He was also great in "The Limey"

I just watched Last Night in SoHo a couple nights ago, recognised him and looked him up on Wikipedia, and was happy to see he was still alive and kicking.

He did such a wonderful job as Bernadette in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. For a 90s movie featuring a trans woman played by a cis man I was worried about it coming off badly when I first watched it, but it was anything but. He played Bernadette elegantly, with class & sass, & a real dimension of empathy.

I was browsing his Wikipedia page literally the other day. Man, what a great actor.

I just learned that the Kinks Waterloo Sunset, "Terry and Julie" was Terrence Stamp and Julie Christie who were dating.
