I really think Gunn is jumping the gun with this one. We need more build up of their conflicting relationship before they team up and, I’m betting, Lex’s betrayal.

I figure this is why Superman would team up with him, he's still trusting and forgiving enough.

But I hear you, we will have to see if Gunn pulls it off.
