I like the idea of Zatanna, so I choose to believe that. The question of how many VFX characters came up and magic creatures would probably be VFX.
I think magic hasn't been touched much in comic book film/TV, so it's an untapped market. I know Marvel has Doctor Strange and Wanda and those characters (and extend characters) use lots of magic, but I'm thinking more like Doom Patrol (TV series) magic. The sort of magic I'm thinking of was in Agatha All Along and Ironheart, both TV shows that came out in the past year.
So yeah, give me magic Zatanna.
Would also love to see Zatanna and bring in Etrigan.
On a separate note, I hope this news about Green Lanterns being less superhero is that they are just doing more of a detective show with their powers. They’re space cops, so some detective work would be good stuff. I hope it is not that they are going to barely use their powers because that wouldn’t be a Green Lantern show.
